It is so hot today. I made absolutely no effort to take the kids out of the house, unless you count the phone call I tried to make to the Pool, to see if it was open (they had closed it.) But the phone number seems not to be working, so I couldn't get through.It's the first really uncomfortable day of heat. In August. Just as I'm thinking that I'm late with the back-to-school shopping.
