new and interesting ways to drive me nuts

The other morning something underneath our kitchen table caught my eye. A pile of shiny goldish things. I went over and looked at them. The things looked familiar, but I couldn't quite place them.

"Nick," I said, "What are these? Where did you get them?"

"There!" Nick exclaimed, pointing to the pantry.

He had unscrewed all the knobs off the drawers. And closed the drawers. And placed the knobs in a pile under the kitchen table.

Well, would YOU recognize the knobs off of YOUR kitchen drawers if they weren't on your kitchen drawers?

Hard to appreciate the creativity when it's pushing your buttons, isn't it LOL!! Remind him of this one day...perhaps when HE has kids of his own!!

Oho! I think perhaps he's exploring future occupations. Today, handyman/cabinet maker, tomorrow who knows? The world is his oyster & your home is his experiment! Try to keep the tools out of his reach along with mathces/fire starters, sharp things, dull things, blunt things & solvents. Good luck, Mommy!

I doubt I would recognize them either. But I have a feeling my darling son will dot hat to me someday as well! LOL!
